I met a man today. A man that had nothing.
A man that had nothing, and wanted for nothing, A man with nothing But the clothes on his back, Taught me something.
But yet, rethink
My spoken value of his nothing Is societies raging everything.
A measurement on a pendulum
Predestined by youthful lessons,
Of the haves and have not's,
And the will be and the will be not.
He had no money, of which to implore, but if he had had riches, we would adore.
Desire everything from him
and so much more.
In my awareness, I dare to declare, It must be a wrecking sickness in society, Currently utilizing currency to fulfil A lessoned desire so forcefully, Aspiring to retire
in a prescribed poisoning
monetary empire.
When we stop. And think. And see. Without the hunger for affluence, is it then that we can truly be?
I say this, not to lust for an alternate State of living, but instead to live for a true state of being.
Reason.
Who are we without reason?
I met a man today. A man that had everything.
A man that had everything, and wanted for nothing, a man with reason and the clothes on his back, Taught me something.
And yes, rethink My spoken value of his everything Is societies nothing. A worthless measure, that forgets Our own, human being.
